OHTA was formed to promote better standards of occupational hygiene practice throughout the world. They develop training materials and make them freely available for use by students and training providers. They also promote an international qualifications framework so that all hygienists are trained to a consistent, high standard, recognized in all participating countries. OHTA are supported by IOHA.
International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH)
The International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) is an international non-governmental professional society whose aims are to foster the scientific progress, knowledge and development of occupational health and safety in all its aspects.
Baltic Sea Network (BSN)
The Baltic Sea Network is an expert information network in OH&S, between and within countries in the region.Countries represented include Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia and Sweden.
World Health Organisation (WHO)
The World Health Organization, the United Nations specialised agency for health, was established on 7 April 1948. WHO’s objective, as set out in its Constitution, is the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health.
International Labour Organization (ILO)
The International Labour Organization is the UN specialised agency which seeks the promotion of social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights.
International Ergonomics Association (IEA)
The International Ergonomics Association is the federation of ergonomics and human factors societies from around the world.
